What are macros?
Macros is short for macronutrients which are the three food groups your body needs in order to function properly. Carbohydrates give you energy, fat keeps you satiated and protein helps you build and repair muscle.
What is individualized coaching?
We design a nutrition program tailor made for your specific body composition and personal goals. Everyone has their own unique macro split designed just for them and they have a coach to help guide them through the entire process week to week.
IS THIS REALISTIC FOR A BUSY INDIVIDUAL LIKE ME?
The answer is… of course! Not only has every single one of our coaches been through the exact same journey you are about to embark on but we have done it while pregnant, nursing, with toddlers, preteens and their school and sports schedules, during deployments, while working out, starting a new business, you name it we’ve done it and we get it!
There is always a learning curve when you begin something new. It will take commitment and time in the beginning, but like anything else once you grasp the hang of it, it becomes second nature. If you ever run into an obstacle we have an online support group filled with clients such as yourself who are all ready and willing to share their experience and advice with you. You also have your own personal coach who is there to help guide you through the process.
Is this a quick fix or fad diet?
No! This is not a “get skinny quick” approach, nor do we consider it a diet, it’s a lifestyle change that will teach you how to make healthy food choices. The goal of our program is to give you the tools and knowledge to be able to sustain your personal achievement long after you have finished the program.
Your progress is dependent on your effort and commitment and we encourage gradual weight loss as well as manageable goals that will help you build a healthy and balanced relationship with food.
Is this program only for weight loss?
Absolutely not. Clients have come to us with a variety of personal goals ranging from athletics to aesthetics and health.
Is this just for crossfitters?
No. The type of exercise you choose is entirely up to you. However, for the best results we recommend any type of resistance or strength training. Any type of regimen from beginner to advanced. If you are sedentary it is always a good idea to check with your physician before beginning a work out regimen.
Do you offer fitness programming?
Not yet but stay tuned for upcoming sculpting and HIIT routines. It's in the works!
IS THIS ONLY FOR FEMALES?
Although a majority of our clients are women, we welcome men as well. The beauty of our program is that it is custom made for each individual- male or female.
What if I’m pregnant or nursing?
We welcome pregnant and nursing mothers. One of our coaches, Ashley, started her journey into flexible dieting during her second pregnancy, and understands how beneficial it was not only for her pregnancy, but for her delivery and postpartum recovery as well. We work with and closely monitor clients who are nursing to ensure they are meeting their caloric requirements and sustaining breast milk supply. Because the last thing you want is a hungry mama!
